1.Curdworth
the churchyard is haunted by a Green Lady and the graves of soldiers
killed in the Civil War are watched over by a headless ghost.
2. Astley
the ghost of Lady Jane Grey haunts the castle along with
the headless ghost of her father. This was their home.
3. Brailes
the ghost of the famous Quaker, George Fox, has been seen walking past
the old Meeting House wearing a cape and tricorn hat.
4. St Denis's Church, Little Compton
is haunted by the ghost of the curate, Mr Drane, who killed himself after performing
the marriage ceremony in which the woman he loved married someone else.
5. Napton-
the ghosts of two Elizabethan women are sometimes seen
kneeling in a front pew in St Lawrence's Church.
